Polish Your CV With Unique ACP Opportunities
If you’re working on a research project or have an interesting clinical case, consider the following options:
- Participate in an ACP abstract competition. Local and national options are available.
- Submit a case to Annals of Internal Medicine: Clinical Cases (AIMCC)—if selected, your manuscript will be featured in this peer-reviewed, open access journal co-published by the American College of Physicians and American Heart Association.
If you’re a fan of medical trivia, get a team together and participate in your local chapter’s Doctor’s Dilemma® competition. Winners are invited to participate in the national competition at ACP’s annual Internal Medicine Meeting.
Take on a leadership role in your chapter by joining the local council of Resident Members or another chapter committee. Plus, be sure to attend your chapter’s events or education meetings to update your clinical knowledge and connect with colleagues.
